A fun, colorful, sweet and bohemian wedding set in the french vineyards of the Pierres Dorées.
For their sweet wedding, Julia and Alexandre picked La Cour Dorée in Charnay. A wedding venue located not too far from Lyon. The place is articulated around the main court. It offers a fantastic view on the vineyard of the pierres dorées at sunset.
The day began at Julia’s parent’s house. Julia and Alexandre both had their own part of the house to get ready, to make sure they would not see each other before the ceremonies. First, a simple civil wedding, then followed by a moving religious ceremony, in which the bride and groom’s entry was accompagnied on the piano by one of their friends.
After all those emotions from the beginning of the day and the ceremonies, it’s back at the wedding venue to enjoy the rest of that warm and sunny day with their guests. And to add a touch of originality and assure a strong fun vibe to their wedding cocktail, a saxophonist played along their DJ.
At sunset, we took some time for a couple session in the field right above the venue. A few steps in the vineyard to start, and because I love the feeling of freedom that comes with vast empty spaces, we ended that couple session in the wheat field. The sunset colors and the wheat matched with the soft and warm colors picked by the bride and groom for their diner reception.
