An engagement session on the wild beaches of Camargue
Claire-Lise and Anthony love the beautiful Provence Beaches as much as I do! That’s why they didn’t have to think twice when I suggested we could go on a little road trip away from Lyon for their engagement session.
I met with them last october on a weekend in the symbolic town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. We had imagined a beautiful sunset after a sunny day for their session. As often, the weather decided otherwise. Clouds came in the way of our expected sunset just a couple hours before we were supposed to meet. We could have thought the engagement session was about to be ruined and that we could not make the most of it, but once again, that natural light surprised us. With the sun slightly coming through the clouds, the beautiful Camargue tones came out even stronger!
And with a couple as enthusiastic as they were, we enjoyed every minute of the session and made beautiful shots! They had thought about every little detail for their outfit and went happily with my idea to jump in the water. Even though the temperature were rather cold, they jumped in the Mediterrannée to get the beautiful images they were expecting. I have to say I believe they had planned for this as well and were mentally well prepared!
A great engagement session, spontaneous and fun just as I enjoy them the most.
And if you would like to go on a little roadtrip as well for your engagement session, in Camargue or anywhere else, you can count me in! Those crazy projects in France and abroad always inspire me so much. They’re a great chance for you to get images you might not be able to get on your wedding day. So… let’s do it!
