A chic and original Provence wedding, with its ceremony set outdoor, right after sunset.
Emeline and Eddy chose to get married in the south of France, in Provence. They picked for their day the Mas Merlet, close to the city of Nîmes. A part of Franche that I love and a wedding venue I was happy to shoot at for the first time.
But what really made that Provence wedding so chic and original? Their choice to have their ceremony take place at dawn, between cocktail and diner. A perfect setting for a magical atmosphere under fairy golden lights.
The other touch of originality? They asked their favorite tattoo artist to be present for their ceremony as they wished for their ritual to be a “YES” tattooed live during the ceremony. Both of them already used to tattoos, they wanted their vows to be inked in their skin forever and on that day. And to share this love for tattoos with their guests, all of them could get tattoos for free during cocktail!
And to make sure their guests would also enjoy the rest of the night, the ceremony was followed by an outdoor diner. Everyone quickly joined the dancefloor thereafter!
I was so happy to be part of this wedding. And also, so happy to join them in that part of Franche which I love so much.
I hadn’t met with them since their engagement session, planned in Lyon in 2019! It took 2 years to carefully plan this wedding and finally celebrate it.
